研究方向

我们的研究工作主要定位在探讨细胞周期调控和肿瘤恶性表型形成的分子机制。重点研究p53, BRCA1, Gadd45, Aurora-A, cyclin B1 和 Nlp等重要细胞周期蛋白分子在细胞周期监测点、细胞中心体和基因组稳定性以及恶性肿瘤转移中的调控作用。同时,我们也关注非编码RNA在细胞DNA损伤反应和肿瘤转移中的生物学功能,采用基因组学的方法寻找人类食管癌发生发展的遗传变异,确定食管癌的分子标志物。

Research Description

The mainstream of research in Dr. Zhan’s group is to investigate the molecular mechanisms involved in the control of cell cycle progression and the development of tumor malignancy. The current studies are focused on the functions of some key cell cycle regulators, including p53, BRCA1, Gadd45, Aurora-A, cyclin B1 and Nlp in the control of cell cycle checkpoints, regulation of the maintenance of genomic stability and tumor metastasis. Major efforts are also made in the understanding on the roles of ncRNA in the cellular response to DNA damage and clinical tumor malignancy. In addition, genomic approaches are used to determine the genetic defects in the development of human esophageal squamous cell carcinomas (ESCC) and identify molecular biomarkers of ESCC in order to develop specific and efficient therapeutic approaches.
