人恶性肿瘤发生与发展的系统生物学研究
应用大规模、高通量技术平台，分析人胚胎发育过程的分子事件在时间及空间上的特征性改变，发现人胚胎发育与肿瘤的内在联系；以发育作为切入点深度挖掘隐藏在肿瘤内并对其临床表型有决定作用的分子网络（molecular network）；并最终以此构建可用于早期诊断、治疗反应评价以及预后判断的分子检测或评价体系。
Research Description
It is suspected for more than a century that the malignant behavior of cancer cell shares certain characteristics with embryonic development. We are interesting in uncovering clues from the embryonic development to better understanding human cancer by comparative study on spatio-temporal events involved in ontogenic （个体发育）and tumorigenesis process based on high throughput technologies. And we also focus on indentifying molecular signatures derived from embryonic development for early cancer detection, therapeutic response and outcome prediction.
