研究方向
肿瘤治疗研究课题组的主要方向为探索肿瘤治疗的新靶点和新方法,并阐明此过程中的基本生物学问题。课题组目前的主要工作涉及病毒载体携带的抑癌基因、合成的肽药物、以及siRNA对肿瘤及其干细胞的靶向治疗作用。课题组的长期目标是开发有未来潜在临床应用价值的生物靶向分子药物。
Research Description
Our interests in cancer research focus on experimental cancer therapy by new techniques or targeting new molecules, as well as the biological mechanisms. Cancer development involves many biological steps. Interruption of each of the steps provides chances to stop cancer initiating or developing to metastasis. Prof. Lin leads the lab to evaluate the therapeutic value of the protein- or nucleic acid-derived molecules in cancer cells, most importantly, in cancer stem cells. Currently the lab is performing studies on the synthesized peptides and adenovirus-carried cDNA sequence to treat cancers. We designed the carriers to specifically target cancer cells in vivo. The long-term goal of our lab is to develop cancer-targeting molecules that can be used in clinical practice.
